Why do stat pages default to last season's data?

Most LeagueStat.com stat URLs contain a season_id parameter that specifies which season's data should be retrieved.

/stats/schedule.php?view=season&season_id=45
/stats/roster.php?season_id=4
/stats/statdisplay.php?season_id=21

If a season ID is not present in the URL, LeagueStat.com will default to the current season as determined by the season start and end dates specified by your League Administrator.
