If a scorekeeper mistakenly adds the incorrect player to a lineup, you can swap the correct player into the game after the game is complete.

You can only swap a player into a game using the unique player ID number. This ensures that the game stats are applied to the correct player in the event that two players have the same name.

Before you begin: You will need the unique player ID of the player you want to swap into the game. To find a player ID number, in the menu on the left of the screen, click Utilities > Player Info. In the Player Name field, begin typing a player’s name. As you type, the player’s name and ID number appears. This is the player ID number you use in step 4, below.

  1. In the menu on the left of the screen, click Utilities > Swap Player in Game.
  2. In the drop-down lists, select the season, date, and game that includes the incorrect player.
  3. In the drop-down list, select the player that was incorrectly added to the lineup.
